Auto Damage Appraiser (Inside)

Essential Functions: • Review estimates from independent adjusting firms and audit for approval • Communicate with independent adjusters on claims and estimating procedures • Review estimates with shops and ensure accuracy prior to payment • Review subrogation files for accuracy and adjust when needed • Negotiate subrogation demands and adjustments • Review Estimates and total loss evaluations and set authority levels accordingly Job Requirements: The ideal candidate possesses the following: • BA/BS from an accredited college or university *or* minimum 2 years prior estimating experience • Prior knowledge of Audatex, CCC, Mitchell estimating systems preferred • Able to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and learn internal computer based systems • Demonstrated team-player, able to multitask • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external clients • Detail oriented and the ability to work with limited supervision
