The Declarations Page is where you’ll find it.

The Declarations Page (often called the "dec page") contains important information about your policy, including policy term, coverage limits and information about the insured(s). Here are items you'll find on the Declarations Page and what they mean:

Vehicle Description(s)
- Identifies the car(s) and/or truck(s) that are covered by your policy. Check to make sure the vehicle description(s) – year, make, model – are accurate.
Driver(s)
- Identifies the driver(s) that are covered by your policy. Also be sure that all regular and occasional drivers are listed.
Exclusions
- The individuals listed in the Exclusions section are not covered by your insurance policy in the event of an accident.
Bodily Injury (BI) Liability
- If you cause an accident, this coverage pays for the reasonable and necessary medical treatment for other people's bodily injury, lost wages, disability and compensation for pain and suffering, up to your policy limits.
Property Damage (PD) Liability
- If you cause an accident, this coverage pays for other people's vehicle and property repairs, up to your policy limits.
Limits of Liability
- The maximum amount of liability coverage you have per person and per incident.
Medical Payments
- No matter who is at fault, this coverage pays for reasonable and necessary medical treatment for bodily injury caused by a covered accident for you and your covered family members and passengers, up to your policy limits.
Uninsured Motorists - BI
- If an uninsured driver causes an accident, this pays for the reasonable costs for your necessary medical treatment, lost wages, disability and compensation for pain and suffering, up to your policy limits.
Uninsured Motorists - PD
- If you are involved in an accident and the other driver is uninsured, this coverage will help to pay for damage to your vehicle. Terms, conditions and limits vary by state. (This coverage is not available in all states.)
Comprehensive
- This coverage pays to fix or replace your covered car or truck if it is damaged in a covered loss not involving a collision (things like fire, theft, vandalism), less the deductible you selected.
Collision
- This coverage pays for costs to fix or replace your covered car or truck after a collision with another vehicle or object, regardless of who is at fault, less the deductible you selected.
Deductibles
- The amount you pay before your insurance company pays for damage.
Towing and Labor Cost
- This coverage pays towing and labor costs each time your covered vehicle is disabled, up to your policy limits. (This coverage is not available in all states.)
Rental Reimbursement
- If your covered vehicle suffers a comprehensive or collision loss, this coverage pays for a rental car while your vehicle is being repaired, up to the maximum daily rate and maximum covered days shown. (This coverage is not available in all states.)
Discounts
- Any discounts applied to your policy will be listed here.
Loss Payee(s)/Additional Insured(s)
- If you have a loan or lease outstanding on your vehicle(s), the lender or lessor will be listed as the Loss Payee.
Applicable Endorsements
- Any amendments or changes to your policy.
